Welcome to Ayushi Ayurvedic Retreat. By accessing our website, booking a stay, or utilizing our wellness services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Scope of Services

Ayushi Ayurvedic Retreat provides traditional Ayurvedic wellness treatments, yoga sessions, and accommodation. We are a wellness retreat, not a licensed medical hospital. Our services are designed for rejuvenation and holistic balance and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or emergency treatment.

2. Reservations and Payments

Booking Confirmation: A reservation is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the specified deposit or full payment as per the booking tier selected.
Pricing: All rates are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR). Prices are subject to applicable government taxes (GST) unless otherwise stated.
Identity Verification: Per Government of India regulations, all guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in. Foreign nationals must provide a valid Passport and Visa/e-Visa.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Standard Cancellation: Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund (minus any bank processing fees).
Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 7 to 13 days of arrival will incur a 50% charge of the total booking value.
Last-Minute/No-Show: Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival, or failure to check in (no-show), are non-refundable.
Early Departure: No refunds or credits will be issued for early departures or unused portions of a wellness package.

4. Medical Disclaimer and Health Disclosure

Mandatory Consultation: All Ayurvedic therapies are preceded by a consultation with our in-house doctors.
Guest Responsibility: You must accurately disclose all pre-existing medical conditions, chronic illnesses, surgeries, allergies, or pregnancies. Ayushi Ayurvedic Retreat is not liable for complications arising from undisclosed health information.
Treatment Variation: Results of Ayurvedic treatments (such as Panchakarma) vary by individual. We do not guarantee specific medical outcomes.

5. Guest Conduct and House Rules

To maintain the "Sattvic" (pure and peaceful) environment of the retreat:

Prohibited Substances: The consumption of alcohol, tobacco, and non-prescription drugs is strictly prohibited on the premises.
Quiet Hours: Guests are requested to maintain silence in treatment zones and observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
Property Damage: Any damage to retreat property, including specialized Ayurvedic equipment or room furnishings, will be charged to the guest’s final bill.

6. Liability and Safety

Personal Property: Ayushi Ayurvedic Retreat is not responsible for the loss or theft of cash, jewelry, or electronics. We strongly recommend using the in-room safety lockers.
Physical Activity: Participation in Yoga or meditation is voluntary. Guests with physical limitations should consult the instructor before beginning any session. The retreat is not liable for injuries sustained during these activities.
Natural Terrain: As we are located on the Varkala North Cliff, guests must exercise caution when walking near cliff edges or on uneven natural paths.

7. Data Privacy

Your personal and health data is protected under our Privacy Policy and handled in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023. We use your health data solely to customize your treatment plan.

8. Force Majeure

The Retreat shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, or other natural disasters), war, government regulations, or strikes.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings or disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
